My insurance does not cover loss of property, what is ECG doing?
The origin of the fire is currently the subject of an official investigation.
The terms of your financial coverage depend on the conclusions of this report, which will determine liability according to two possible scenarios:
Scenario 1: The fire is deemed a case of force majeure (e.g., natural cause, forest fire) Your personal insurance (holiday/vacation extension of your home insurance policy or your credit card insurance) will handle the compensation for your belongings and additional expenses. Regarding unused nights, we invite you to contact ECG so we can assist you in obtaining a refund for those unused nights.
Scenario 2: A third party is held liable. If the third party is identified, their insurance will take over to compensate all your damages (loss of material property, emergency rehousing costs, etc.) upon presentation of your receipts.

I paid for X hotel nights / restaurant meals / clothing purchases, who will reimburse me?
If you have not been rehoused in another destination: regarding your emergency additional expenses (clothing, external hotel nights), your assistance provider or insurance company will take over.

My insurance is asking for an attestation / certificate, can you provide it?
Our teams are in contact with the authorities and our insurers in order to provide you with an official document that you can present to your insurance company.
In parallel, an email that serves as proof for your insurance company has been sent to you.
I no longer have a car, how do I get back home?
Your insurance should normally offer you repatriation options.
However, if your insurance confirms in writing that they do not cover this, we remain available to find a temporary housing solution for you while you organize your return.
Will you be paying compensation for emotional distress (préjudice moral)?

Do you have an upcoming reservation at Le Sainte Marie / Marina de Canet campsites?
For reservations with an arrival date up to 19/07:
You can choose a stay on the same dates (subject to availability) at another campsite in our network, for equivalent accommodation. You can view our destinations at www.homair.fr.
If the new stay is cheaper: we will refund the difference.
If the new stay is more expensive: we will cover the difference up to 15% of the price of the new stay.
You also have the option to request a full cancellation of your reservation with a complete refund of the amounts paid (in accordance with Article 10 of our General Rental Conditions).
To simplify the process, we invite you to indicate your choice by filling out the form received by email.
For reservations with an arrival date after 19/07:
Our priority is to manage guests currently on-site and those whose stay is imminent. However, aware that your vacation is also approaching, we will keep you informed of the options available to you very soon.
