What's the difference between the free Zen & Flex guarantee and the paid for cancellation insurance ?

• The free Zen & Flex guarantee included automatically with 2023 bookings covers situations where you are unable to go on a booked holiday due to reasons beyond your control associated with the Covid health crisis, such as:
  • Border closures, regional or national lockdowns, access to campsites prohibited due to the Covid public health crisis, and mandatory self-isolation on arrival.
  • In cases such as these, you will be able to rearrange/alter your stay free of charge or request a cancellation and receive a credit note or refund for the full amount spent.

• The "Campez Couvert" cancellation insurance provided by Mutuaide is optional paid insurance covering all other types of personal or professional reasons for which you might have to cancel / rearrange / interrupt your stay and which can be duly justified (e.g. personal health issues, issues relating to your personal or professional life, late arrival due to delays, having to cut your stay short for some reason, mechanical/breakdown issues with your car/vehicle, etc.). New: this insurance now also includes Covid cover to compensate you in case of illness due to Covid-19 or in case of coming into contact with Covid-19. 

These two services are thus mutually complementary, as the first only covers general restrictions on movement introduced due to the public health crisis, whereas the insurance covers other unforeseen personal or professional eventualities + the Covid-19 coronavirus disease.
